When looking for a new job you should try to be as clear as possible with your own expectations and make those clear to your potential employers.

What are we talking about?

• What kind of hours do you want to work?
• Do you want opportunities to move up in the company?
• How much do you want to make?
• How long do you want to be employed?

Making these intentions known to your potential employers will make sure that you get the best fit when you are searching for a new job. Remember that you will have to give and take in some cases as with all things...life isn't perfect. That being said, it doesn't mean you can't find the job that best fits what you are looking for. Just be patient and keep your goals and expectations clear to yourself and your employers and it will lead to a much better experience.
